ASU Bridge

We recently completed this bridge for the Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Bill Cox and his crew did a great job. This will be part of Caraway road when the rest of the projects are completed. The prime contractor was Cameron Construction and the engineer was Jacobs Engineering.

NOW Hiring: We are looking for a truck driver with Class A CDLs that has experience hauling overweight and over dimension loads. Some of our permitted loads are near 150,000 pounds. Experience is a must. Must pass a drug test and physical. Must have clean driving record and good references.

Clearwater Cutoff Wall

We are currently providing support for Bencor / Recon at Clearwater Dam. They are building a concrete wall that goes down to bedrock in the core of the dam. Our part of this project is around $10 million dollar. This project has been going on for about 2 years and should continue through next year. We did the initial earthwork and concrete needed before they could move in. After the wall is complete we will do the final earthwork and rip rap on the face of the dam.

O.S.H.A. Classes

OSHA 10 hour training is now mandatory for workers on most publically funded construction sites in Missouri. We have two Authorized O.S.H.A. Outreach trainers on staff. We hold the Construction O.S.H.A. 10 Hour classes regularly. If you are still in need of this required training contact Sloan Parker or Jerry Wawak to see when our next class is scheduled. 573-686-2464

This course is designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors and anyone involved in the construction industry. It will be an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. All attendees will receive a 10 Hour OSHA Card.

Some of the topics to be covered include:

Introduction to OSHA, Trench and Excavation Safety, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment
Health Hazards in Construction, Electrical, Stairways and Ladders, Cranes, and more

This project is the continuation of 67 highway coming North out of Newport. Bringing the 4 lane up closer to Walnut Ridge. Dumey Excavating in the prime contractor on this project. We are building many bridges on this section.
